Filipinos disappointed over Pacquiao’s loss

Millions of Filipinos were glued to screens – big and small – Sunday morning as their country’s boxing hero Manny Pacquiao faced the undefeated American Floyd Mayweather, Jr. It took five years to make it happen and nowhere was anticipation higher than in Pacquiao’s home country of the Philippines. But as CCTV’s Barnaby Lo reports, the excitement quickly turned into disappointment by the end of the match.


Fans from around the world gathered for historic fight. 

The world waited for five years for the fight of the century. Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao went at it for a 12 full rounds at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, breaking all kinds of records along the way. CCTV’s May Lee was at the fight and has more on the outcome.
