In August of next year, the world’s gaze will turn to Brazil for the 2016 Summer Olympics. Unfortunately, that gaze may catch a glimpse of something else too. Polluted water.
The Olympic sailing competition will take place on Guanabara Bay in Rio. They are taking the unsightly debris from the bay and using it to make sculpture.
Take a look at some images of Guanabara Bay and the artistic creations being made in an effort to cleanse its waters.
