US manufacturing is lacking skilled workers

Global Business

One area where there’s no shortage of jobs in the United States is manufacturing. It’s on the upswing in the U.S. and with baby boomers retiring, millions of openings will need to be filled in the years ahead.

There are two million U.S. manufacturing jobs now projected to be unfilled in 2025. The challenge is finding qualified people to fill all those positions. Manufacturers are struggling to find people with the right skill sets.

CCTV’s Hendrik Sybrandy reports from Denver.
