The Heat: Global fight against ISIL

The Heat was joined by a panel of guests to discuss the history of Islamic State.

The panel also delved into Western occupation in the Middle East and diplomatic efforts to end the violence there.

French president Francois Hollande lobbied for the cooperation to fight against the Islamic State, in the wake of last month’s Paris attacks which were claimed by ISIL.

Will military action provoke even more violence and anti-Western sentiment around the world?
