Down Syndrome cases studied to reduce solid cancers

It’s a condition that affects roughly one in 700 worldwide. Down Syndrome is a genetic disorder that alters the course of development. But those with Down Syndrome are much less likely to develop cancer.

Scientists are now actively studying that link, in hopes of finding a benefit for society as a whole. CCTV’s Hendrik Sybrandy reports.
