Apple suffers in China’s saturated mobile market

China’s smartphone market could be nearing its saturation point. Overall the Chinese smartphone market grew by 3.4 percent in 2015. It is the slowest rate to date.

These findings are according to data from Strategy Analytics. The organization is a U.S.-based tech analytics firm with offices in Asia.

In the last quarter, iPad unit sales declined by 25 percent, while Mac unit sales were down 4 percent.
Apple’s base of installed devices has now passed 1 billion. That’s nearly one for every seven people on the planet.
