The Heat: Colombia’s peace talks with FARC

A peace deal is expected as early as March between the Colombian government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC.

In anticipation of the historic truce, Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos is requesting additional financial aid from the United States and the removal of FARC from the U.S. terrorist list.
