In Djibouti, President Ismail Omar Guelleh has won a fourth term in office.

He’s been in power for 17 years now. He won with a landslide 87 percent. Opposition parties, though, are disputing the results.

Djibouti woke to news that Ismail Omar Guelleh would continue as president.

That’s extended his rule over the small but strategic Horn of Africa nation to 22 years all told.
