Terror in Orlando Search for answers after US deadliest shooting

Authorities are portraying 29-year-old Omar Mateen as a home-grown terrorist. But, in the heart of central Florida Mateen is called the worst mass killer in U.S. history.

CCTV America’s Sean Callebs reports on the latest information.

Police said Mateen shot his way into the Pulse nightclub near closing time at the bar.

The FBI launched two investigations into Mateen’s background after he allegedly made terrorist threats to colleagues where he worked as a security guard.

The investigations went nowhere and he was not put on a terror-watch list. All the while he was planning his horrific attack.


Mass shooting leaves friends and family shocked and grieving

Friends and families of the shooting victims have been learning the fate of their loved ones. As authorities released the names of those killed in the massacre, relatives have been meeting with police, and talking about their loss.
