Up till recently, Belgium’s baby panda has just been known as “Baby P,” but on Thursday at a Belgian zoo “Baby P” was officially named “Tian Bao.”

The baby panda is just three-and-a-half months old. Every morning he spends about thirty minutes in the crib so zoo keepers can do a thorough check. He is their biggest star.

Born on June 2nd, he’s been nameless for months. But the people who come and visit him at the Pairi Daiza zoo have voted and their top pick turned out to be Tian Bao, meaning “treasure from heaven.” His mother and father are here on loan from China.
