Tokyo Game Show kicked off on Thursday with a record number of exhibitors displaying their latest products. 614 companies and organizations from 37 countries and regions exhibited their latest products in the world’s largest game show.

CCTV’s Terrence Terashima reports.

Thousands of people flocked to the annual game exhibit in Tokyo. One can always expect exciting visuals, sound, cosplays and glamour at the Tokyo Game Show, as the event regained public interest in recent years.

Digital game content market have seen a rapid increase globally in the past, online and mobile games generated billions of dollars and expected to continue to expand.

In Japan, core gamers still use boxed products, but demand for mobile digital contents are increasing year by year.
