Moet, Krug, Dom Perignon are names that are synonymous with good wine and champagne. They are also becoming increasingly popular in China. In fact, the owners of Moet have begun producing their own luxury brand of red wine in China. “Ao Yun,” produced in Yunnan province, goes for 300 Euros a bottle.

But the fascination with red wine in China doesn’t end there. Wines from Chile are experiencing huge growth in China, making trade ties between them even stronger.

Since China is already the world’s largest market for red wine, producers around the world are looking to break into the growing and lucrative group of red wine lovers there.
