Dainese shows off new bike, technology at CES

CES

Among the companies hoping to make a mark at this year’s CES is Italy’s Dainese.

They’ve been around for decades, but it is the company’s first time to the tech expo.

Here’s a look at what they’re offering. CGTN’s Phil Lavelle reports.

The Italian company, Dainese is forty years old. And it’s off to the world’s largest technology show, CES, for the very first time.

“All the companies, all the consumers that look at this technology might be there. So it’s not only a business to consumer event, but it’s also a business to business opportunity. Maybe we can find partners to apply this technology to other applications, ” Roberto Sadowsky, executive vice president at DAINESE said.

And that’s what CES is all about – a melting pot of ideas and technology.

Last year, some 177,000 people attended CES events, spread across more than 200,000 square meters of exhibition space. Nearly 33,000 buyers were there, along with 200 government officials. And firms from 81 percent of the world’s countries were represented.

One dominant presence is China with Chinese companies making up more than a quarter of all exhibits last year.
