If you’re in need of some tasty stress relief- try this almond oat smoothie.

Ingredients:

• 1 peeled banana
• 1 yellow squash cooked and chopped
• 3 tbsp rolled oats
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 2 tbsp almond butter
• 2 tbsp coconut cream
• 1 tsp agave nectar
• 1 cup water
• 1 cut ice

Banana, yellow squash and coconut cream are all rich in magnesium, an essential mineral that helps support melatonin and serotonin- two chemicals responsible for a healthy sleep cycle.

Cinnamon is an anti-inflammatory powerhouse, and oats provide cholesterol-lowering agents as well as additional fiber.
