Advocacy group logs uptick in attacks on Asian-Americans

Reports of racial bullying and assaults against Asian Americans across the United States may be growing.

Some point to the anti-China rhetoric that U.S. President Donald Trump used during his election campaign. Now, a national Asian advocacy group is beginning to track incidents across the country.

Still, the latest FBI numbers show there were relatively few reported attacks on Asians in the U.S. in 2015 — 111 out of 5,850 total hate crimes.
