The Heat: Rex Tillerson visits Asia

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has concluded a six-day diplomatic visit to Asia.

He began his trip in Japan last Thursday where he met with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Japan’s Foreign Minister. His next destination was on to Seoul where he addressed the nuclear issue in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. He stressed a new U.S. approach to the DPRK saying that, quote “all options are on the table.”

Over the weekend, Tillerson visited China and met with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The American diplomat brought a positive message from the U.S.

Chinese President Xi Jinping said cooperation between both countries is the best path forward. He is expected to meet soon with U.S. President Trump.
