The United States will provide 500 million dollars in loan guarantees to Tunisia as part of a series of measures to support the African country’s fragile economy following an uprising in 2011.
The guarantee was announced during a meeting between President Barack Obama and Prime Minister Mehdi Jomaa at the White House. CCTV’s Daniel Ryntjes reports.
