Another dispute has emerged between Washington and Tehran: some U.S. Congress members want to stop Iran’s choice of veteran diplomat Hamid Abutalebi as the country’s new United Nations ambassador.

They accuse Abutalebi of being involved in the 1979 Iran hostage crisis in which American embassy workers were held captive for 444 days. CCTV’s Nick Harper reports from the United Nations.
