Ukraine is now trying to wean itself off Russian gas and looking for alternative sources. And some nearby countries are offering a helping hand. This is because Russian President Vladimir Putin said he would cut natural gas supplies to Ukraine if Kiev doesn’t pay its 2.2 billion dollar gas bill.
