The World Bank seminar called: Emerging Economies:Views from East and South brought together leading World Bank economists and top government officials from the Philippines, Malaysia and Bolivia. The International Monetary Fund has said that tougher market conditions and lower commodity prices will keep economic growth across Latin America in low gear. Countries in the region are working hard to attract foreign investment.
