Brazilians are commemorating two holidays this week. Tiradentes Day Monday, for a hero of its independence movement; and Saint George Day on Wednesday.

Ahead of the World Cup, starting in June, host city Rio de Janeiro has declared three more public holidays.The goal is to free up traffic during the football tournament. But, as CCTV’s Lucrecia Franco reports, it comes with a high cost.
