Brazil Calls for Better Governance of Internet

Global Business

Brazilian President Dilma Roussef is talking safety in technology. She is calling for better governance of the internet in wake of the U.S. spying scandal.
When it was revealed, last year, that Washington was spying on her phone calls, she quickly embarked on an international crusade. She immediately called on the United Nations annual general assembly to push for better governance of the Internet. This week, government and private leaders from around the world will come to Brazil to discuss just that. Other government and industry leaders are also lending support for her push for better regulation of the world wide web. CCTV’s Paulo Cabral has more.
