Mixed Reactions to Obama’s Malaysia Visit

President Obama’s next stop will be Malaysia.He will arrive in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.It is the first time a U.S. President has visited the country in nearly half a century.


Top of his agenda will be to ink an important trade and investment deal. However, ahead of his visit to Malaysia, there are protests by Muslim groups. About 100 Malaysian Muslim activists protested on Friday outside the United States Embassy against his visit to the country, denouncing Obama as an enemy of Islam. The U.S. President is expected to sign a military agreement that would boost the presence of American troops in the region. CCTV correspondent Rian Maelzer reports.
