South Korea\'s President Apologises for Official Failings in Ferry Disaster

South Korea is making changes in the wake of the ferry tragedy that claimed so many lives. The government is opening a new national safety office. It will coordinate government departments during natural disasters. President Park Geun-hye announced the new agency as she apologized for the tragedy. She said her government's first response was insufficient. The president also attended a memorial service Tuesday. The death toll was raised to 193 as divers continue to recover more bodies.
