Full Frame Innovations: Dreaming the Dream

Full Frame

Have you ever wondered what you could learn about yourself if you remembered all of your dreams?

What could we learn about humanity in general if people all around the world could remember their dreams and record them in a global database? Well, we may soon find out.

The Shadow app – an innovative “alarm clock” that allows users to record and catalogue their dreams – will be released this month. The creators hope that the data collected through the app will provide a window into the collective human psyche.

Hunter Lee Soik, the creator of the Shadow app, joined Mike Walter in-studio to show Full Frame viewers what Shadow is all about and how his new innovation may change the way we all think about our dreams.

“There’s a huge debate about what’s the functioning of dreaming, why people are dreaming and what it actually does,” Hunter Lee Soik said.  “We’d like to take that data and self-organize it to figure what people are dreaming about all over the world.”
