Authorities in Afghanistan still don’t know how many people died in last week’s landslides.Some estimates are as high as 27 hundred.
Authorities say it will be impossible to dig out all of the bodies. The main efforts are now focused on 4 thousand survivors. Rain in the forecast early this week may threaten rescue efforts and trigger another landslide. Cem Sey reports from Kabul on the obstacles in rescuing survivors.
