South Africans vote in the first major election since the death of Nelson Mandela. His party, the ANC is expected to hold onto power, but what are the stakes for the Rainbow Nation?

It’s been twenty years since the end of apartheid. Nelson Mandela’s party, the African National Congress or ANC, has governed South Africa the entire time. But South Africans head to the polls this week with the ANC under pressure. Party leader Jacob Zuma has been fighting corruption allegations, but still hopes to win a second term as President. And, the so called “Born-frees” – the generation born after apartheid will be voting for the first time.  CCTV correspondent Fahmida Miller reports from Johannesburg.
