More than 50 years of armed conflict appears to be coming to an end in Colombia. The government is currently negotiating a peace deal with the leftist guerrila group, popularly known as FARC. Victims compensation and land rights are key points in the peace talks. That’s because as many as four million people lost their land during the country’s armed conflict. Some are questioning whether the government is doing enough; others are wondering if its goals are impossible to meet.
