Three months have passed since opposition protests in Venezuela turned into violent clashes with government officials, resulting in more than 40 deaths.

Thousands crowded the streets due to the country’s economy. Last week, Venezuelan authorities raided protest camps in Caracas, arresting dozens of people.

Elaine Reyes sits down with Georgetown University Professor, Erick Langer, to discuss the tensions between the government, student protesters, and the Opposition. Reyes asks the Director of Georgetown University’s Latin American Studies how the situation in Venezuela compares to February. Langer says if anything the situation is the same or getting worse.
