Venezuelans have been plagued by shortages of all manner of goods-from basic food staples to car parts.

Even plane tickets are sometimes hard to get. But as the country’s problems continue to escalate, many Venezuelans are getting creative in coping with the economic crisis.

Venezuela’s economic crisis has led to shortages that is made day-to-day living a challenge. Its population has struggled to secure basic goods from toilet paper to car parts.

Now, many Venezuelans are taking matters into their own hands.  CCTV’s Martin Markovits reports.
