Although China did not qualify for the 2014 World Cup, the country’s stamp is on most of the fan apparel and souvenirs. In 1999, trade between the giant of South America and China was only a mere $1.5 billion, while last year, trade closed at $83.3 billion.

Brazil mainly buys manufactured goods from China and this his year, sales are expected to explode especially if Brazil reaches the final match of the competition. CCTV’s Lucrecia Franco finds out what this means for Brazil and China relations.
