New York is ranks sixth. The Principality of Monaco holds the top spot.

While New York may not be home to royalty like Monaco, Manhattan does boast some residences fit for a king.

The neoclassical residence is a throwback to New Yorks great prewar buildings. A penthouse is priced at least 40 million dollars.

Americans Expect Job Hiring to Increase

New York city is ranked as one of the most expensive cities in the world, but not the most expensive.

The Conference Board said Tuesday that its confidence index rose to 83 from a revised 81.7 in April. That’s the second highest reading since January 2008, just after the Recession began.
