Russia’s foreign minister said large-scale military operations continue in the Southeast and every day, civilian, including women and children were getting killed.

The session was closed to the public and media, but Russian ambassador Vitaly Churkin addressed the press following the meeting, where he emphasized the urgency for a humanitarian response through the Russian resolution,

suggesting those he calls the “other side” are procrastinating and dragging their feet and showing no urgency, which he says is a mistake because the resolution is needed to prevent the situation from deteriorating further.
