In the deadliest conflict in Peru’s history, nearly 70,000 people died and thousands more were reported missing during two decades of violence between communist Shining Path guerrillas and the country’s security forces. Now Peru’s “Place of Memory,” a 3-story museum built in homage to those who died, will open its doors to the public. CCTV’s Dan Collyns reports from Lima.
