Nations wrap up G-77 meeting with declaration

Fifty years ago, seventy-seven developing nations founded a cooperative association known simply as the G-77.

Sunday, its members number more than 130 – and the group gathered in the Bolivian city of Santa Cruz – to mark its Golden Anniversary – and tackle the problem of global poverty.
