Struggle continues for Syrian refugees in Turkey

Refugee and Migrant Crisis

Turkey has welcomed over 750,000 Syrians since the crisis began three years ago. The government has built 22 camps across 10 provinces. Life inside camp is not easy – yet those who find a place in camp are grateful nonetheless. Those who don’t have bigger challenges, life outside camp has proven to be difficult for thousands of Syrians.

The Turkish government has taken many measures to support the inflow of Syrian refugees. Yet as the crisis continues – the efforts are insufficient because burden is just too heavy. Syrian refugees may have found safety in Turkey, but the battle for survival continues. CCTV’s Michal Bardavid takes a closer look at one of those refugee families.
