It has been a dramatic day of late goals in the World Cup’s round of 16. The Netherlands and Costa Rica have advanced.
Mexico dominated the Netherlands, and for a moment it looked like they were going to win, but a late goal in the final minutes tied the game. Then a foul against the Netherlands gave them a free kick in the final seconds.

They scored and knocked out Mexico with a 2-1 win. Costa Rica played Greece as was up 1-0 but a late goal in the 90th minute tied the game. In the end it all came down to penalty kicks. Greece missed and Costa Rica goes on. The final score 5-3.
