UN report: More than 2,400 killed in Iraq in June

Horrific new figures from the United Nations report that more than 2,400 people were killed in June. This makes for the deadliest month in years. Ryan Lucas from the Associated Press reports from Baghdad with more.

Also, a tape featuring the leader of the newly-named “Islamic State” has been released, in which he urges jihad. In a message posted online, Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi says his followers should “perform jihad in God’s path” during the month of Ramadan.
