It is alleged that a local vigilante leader, named Abass Gava, gave the information of the escape.

The military has since confirmed that an attack took place Friday night and that 53 terrorists were killed in the encounter while six soldiers lost their lives.

But other than the information from the local vigilante leader, there has been no official confirmation from authorities as to the authenticity of this story.

Some reports indicate that they may have been among women who were reportedly kidnapped in the month of June.

The escape leaves a lot of unanswered questions. But if it’s confirmed, then the authorities would reach out to the women to try and gather information on their abductors.
