Although dairy farmers in the U.S. have seen hard times over the past few years, the entire U.S. industry has recently seen growing international interest.

The U.S. exported over $700 million worth of dairy products just to China in 2013, which is seven times the amount of exports since 2006.

Dairy exports are expected to rise from the current $5 billion per year to $8 billion per year within the next five years.
