Egyptian activists stopped from delivering aid

A convoy of Egyptian activists was not allowed to take the road leading to the Rafah border with Gaza.

On Saturday dozens of political activists from Cairo accompanied a truck of donated supplies, heading to the Egypt-Gaza border. But around 200 kilometers before the Rafah passage, the Army prevented the convoy from moving forward.

For twelve days, aid has been entering into Gaza through the Rafah Passage, all of which must first go through Al Areesh city, the closest Egyptian city to Rafah. The Red Crescent is responsible for organizing the process.

Before the strikes began, the Red Crescent was getting ready to help the Palestinian people. Now they are preparing for the worst-case scenario.
