Russia denies involvement in MH17 downing, demands security for investigators

Russian President Vladimir Putin demanded that there be enough security in Ukraine for air crash investigators to do their work, after growing accusations that Russia was involved in the crash. CCTV’s Tom Barton reports.

Ukraine and other governments have accused Moscow of using the plane crash tragedy for political ends and supplying the pro-Russian rebels in Ukraine with men and equipment. Putin has denied these accusations, and blamed Ukraine for the crash despite also being accused of supplying the militants who brought down the plane with anti-aircraft equipment.
