Chinese workers suffered extensive burns

Many of the people seriously injured in the explosion are being treated at a hospital in Kunshan city.

Lu Yong, the deputy director from Ruijin hospital in Shanghai says, “Most of the patients have serious injuries. They all have extensive burns and inhalation burns.”

Family members wait anxiously outside the hospital. Now ambulances are taking patients in stable condition to larger hospitals nearby.
