In the worst Ebola outbreak in history, the death toll has risen to more than 880 people. The spread of the disease in West Africa has outpaced the efforts to contain the virus with dozens of deaths daily.

In Nigeria, officials have confirmed a second case connected to the American citizen who died from the disease in Lagos.

In Liberia, authorities are taking action to contain the virus and raise public awareness. CCTV Africa correspondent Katerina Vittozzi reports from Monrovia.
