Five days after the magnitude 6.5 earthquake in Yunnan Province, China, 615 people have died and 100 are still missing.

The relief efforts have continued, with about 10,000 troops and hundreds of volunteers working to clear roads and search collapsed buildings. There are still some villages, such as the Lehong township, that are too isolated to be reached by roads.

On Thursday, ten helicopters were deployed in the affected areas to carry supplies and food to the more isolated areas.

CCTV’s Ai Yang reports.
