The Israeli military is on standby at the Gaza border after Hamas militants were the first to strike at the end of the cease-fire on Friday morning.

When Hamas fired at least 43 rockets into Israel, the Israeli military retaliated by striking 70 Hamas sites. Fighting has resumed between Israel and Hamas, ending the three-day cease-fire.

There have been casualties on both sides, and Gazans continue to flee their homes amidst the conflict.
