Muslim Brotherhood’s political power dissolved in Egypt

An Egyptian court dissolved the Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice party, terminating the group’s legal existence.

The party was established in 2011 after Hosni Mubarak stepped down. Former president Mohamed Morsi was the chief of the party.

Political analysts say that the Muslim Brotherhood’s presence and influence is not over even though the group is now underground.
