The expansion of the mobile-commerce, the M-commerce, in Brazil, is closely related to another trend in this market. Growing numbers of users are updating their cell phones; exchanging them for brand-new smart phones with full internet access.

Last year we had in Brazil around 30 million smartphones sold. And for this year, more than 50 million smartphones will be sold in Brazil. For new users, their first experience is usually to login to social media, second is comparison shopping, and finally, they start buying.

Brazilian shoppers are getting use to a new way of buying products with instant results just by internet access through their smartphones. And companies willing to make the most of this will have to be connected with their customers all the time.
