Nigeria’s public health service is struggling to cope with the Ebola outbreak, despite the fact that only 10 cases of the disease have been reported.

Twenty-two days after the first Ebola case was reported in Nigeria, public health officials there are hoping that the worst is over. The disease usually lives in the human body for about 21 days before symptoms begin to show.

In a country like Nigeria with an open market system, not being able to shake hands or touch new objects can cause an economic struggle.
