Greek agricultural exports hit by Russian retaliation

Global Business

Greek agricultural exports have been hit by Russian retaliation. The country has been the main destination for Greek products, especially for fruits, furs and fish.

Hundreds of trucks came back to Greece when the Russian embargo was imposed. More trucks are yet to come in the next few days. Producers are obliged either to throw away their fruits or to sell them in very low prices, even 90 percent lower than usual, for the production of juice or stewed fruits.

CCTV America visited the regional unit of Imathia, in Northern Greece and has more on the situation.
